The Hotel

A magical combination of noble Italian atmosphere, where comfort and detailed services are combined with valuable pieces of antiques and exceptional artwork. The Grand Hotel Plaza has hosted nearly a century and a half in the old Palazzo Lozzano of Via del Corso in Rome. This is where the composer Pietro Mascagni for over 20 years he lived in one of the suites and where he composed one of his major works "Nero". Today, the Grand Hotel Plaza is true meeting of nobles, ambassadors, artists, politicians and rulers on a visit to Rome.

Location

The Grand Hotel Plaza has a prestigious location. In the heart of Rome, in Via del Corso, between Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Venezia, a few steps from the Spanish Steps, Piazza di Spagna and the famous Via dei Condotti. Monuments and museums, boutiques and fashion houses, cafes and restaurants and other attractions of Rome are just a few steps away.

The Public Areas

In our public areas you can feel the magic that is found in the original interiors, from silks, damask fabrics, chandeliers and antique consoles. Especially in the Salone dell Feste Ballroom by the architect Mongiardino and you can admire original frescoes from the early 19th century.

The 200 guest rooms of the Grand Hotel Plaza are identified into Classic, Superior and Luxury, Family Apartments, Junior Suites and Executive Suites. The original furniture are a reminiscent of the nineteenth-century splendor combined with modern comforts.

The Terraces

Our 2 Terraces are located on the fifth floor of the hotel and offer a breathtaking view of the city. The Champagnerie is a great place to enjoy a cocktail or dinner watching one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.
